Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao is the head of Pakistan Peoples Party (Sherpao) and was the Federal Interior Minister in the cabinet of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. Prior to this assignment he was working as the Federal Minister for Water and Power (WAPDA).
Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao was born on August 20, 1944ю Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao was educated at Edwards College, Peshawar and Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul, Abbottabad. After passing out from Pakistan Military Academy with 34th Long Course in 1965, he joined Armoured Corps in the Probya's Horse Battalion.
While his military career spanned over 12 years, his political career includes landmarks such as serving as leader of the opposition in NWFP Assembly in 1993 and 1997; Chief Minister of NWFP in 1994, senior vice chairman of PPP from 1997-1999 and leader of PPP parliamentary party in provincial assembly of NWFP from 1997-1999.
Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao founded Pakistan People's Party (Sherpao) and was elected as its chairman on August 2, 2002.

Born in September 1988, a month before his mother was elected prime minister, Bilawal was given a name meaning "one without equal". Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, and the eldest child and only son of the Pakistani politician and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and her husband Asif Ali Zardari. He is also the grandson of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the first popularly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan and father of Benazir Bhutto.

Chaudhry Shujaat was born on January 27, 1946 in Gujrat and graduated from Forman Christian College, University of Punjab in 1967. His father, Chaudhry Zahoor Elahi, was a seasoned parliamentarian who played an important role in restoring democracy and human rights in Pakistan and was duly honored as the “Prisoner of Conscience” by Amnesty International. Chaudhry Shujaat entered politics after his father was assassinated on September 25, 1981.
Chaudhry Shujaat was the interior minister in Nawaz Sharif’s first tenure. After losing the election from Gujrat in 1993, Chaudhry Shujaat became a member of Senate and the Chairman of the Senate’s standing committee on defence, production and aviation from 1993 to 1997. He won the general election again in 1997 by defeating PPP candidate Ahmad Mukhtar. Nawaz Sharif appointed him the interior minister in his cabinet and was elected the Punjab PML-Nawaz president in 1997.
Ch. Shujaat Hussain is current President of PML(Q), elected un-opposed.

Nawaz Sharif (born on December 25, 1949 in Lahore, Punjab) was twice elected as Prime Minister of Pakistan, serving two non-consecutive terms, the first from November 1, 1990 to July 18, 1993 and the second from February 17, 1997 to October 12, 1999.
On October 12, 1999, the civilian Government headed by Nawaz Sharif was overthrown by a military coup. After an extensive trial, Nawaz Sharif was charged and found guilty in the "Plane Conspiracy" case.
On request of the Saudi Royal Family, the Government of Pakistan exiled him to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he now lives with his close family. Several cases of corruption against him are still pending decision in local courts.
He had tried to return in September, but spent just a few hours in Pakistan before being deported again to Saudi Arabia.
Nawaz Sharif has been banned from running in the election.

PTI is headed by cricket legend Imran Khan. Imran Khan (Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi, son of Ikram Ullah khan Niazi Shermankhel), the chairman of the party is also the Chancellor of the University of Bradford, England. He has a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and is a Master of Arts of the University of Oxford.
In April 1996, he founded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Movement for Justice) party, of which he is chairman as well as sole ever-elected member of Parliament. He represented Mianwali as a member of the National Assembly from October 2002 to October 2007.

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri is known for his liberal, practical and principled policies and opinions regarding national political issues.
